GUIDELINES FOR FUNDING REQUESTS


  1. All requests must be submitted in writing, preferrably in electronic format (Word or PDF) to BRF@buffalorenaissance.org .  Supporting documentation (brochures, annual reports, etc.) may be scanned and attached to your email, or sent as a separate package through the U.S. Mail.

    *If submitting requests via U.S. Mail, please forward eight (8) collated sets to the address listed below.

  2. Identify the organization making the request and show evidence of 501(c) 3 status.

  3. Identify other sources of funding for this project.

  4. Provide the organization's mission statement and annual financial statement.

  5. State amount requested and give detailed project description. Our preference is to provide a definitive amount of funding for a specific expenditure relating to education, health, or cultural needs of a local organization.

Annual deadline for requests is 5:00 p.m. or postmark of March 31st
Applicants will be notified of determination by August 1st
