The Buffalo Renaissance Foundation will work in conjunction with the Buffalo Urban League in order to ensure that Buffalo’s best and brightest are given these internship opportunities. The Buffalo Urban League will help screen a pool of qualified candidates to be interviewed and selected by BRF Director companies.

Companies will be required to fill out a form, specifically outlining the internship including requirements and expectations. Applicants may apply directly to a company’s internship posting by filling out the Intern Application Form.

Once a company selects the intern, the Letter of Understanding is to be read and signed by both parties. There will be regular meetings between BRF Director and intern, providing the perfect opportunity for interns to evaluate progress while getting firsthand experience and insight of a specific industry.

The internship will conclude with a complete evaluation done by both the company and the intern. This evaluation will help give the Board information for moving this program forward in all respects. After the internship is complete the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation will continue to track the progress and highlight the accomplishments of our interns.
